Simultaneous Aural Detriments is a collaborative project from the N.O.I.S.E. collective. Each artist involved contributed a track of exactly 15 minutes with no more than 3 minutes of actual sound, distributed in any way throughout the total length of the track. This left each track with a total of 12 minutes of silence. All of these tracks were then layered and mixed together. The result is a study in chance and randomness, with disparate sound events coming together to form the whole. This is the second effort of its kind.
